Well, because these challenges aren’t about surmounting mountains, diving off deathly cliffs or engaging your muscles and mind in any kind of overly-strenuous activity. These challenges are simply about consuming mouth-watering, finger-licking, taste bud- delighting food! Yes, you heard it right, all you need to do is plonk down on your butt and EAT, to more than your stomach’s content!
All fired up to take on a ‘food challenge?’ Here are 3 crazy food challenges that will not only make you drool, but will also make you declare in a loud and booming voice, “I accept!”
Mallie’s Hellfire “Hat Trick” Challenge:
This challenge has the word ‘Hellfire’ in it for good reason. All the spiciness served up will transport you back in time to those days in Bible class, when you learnt all there is to learn about the scorching fires of hell.
The Hellfire Hat Trick Challenge requires participants to consume 1 Hellfire burger (which is a ½ lbs. Angus burger that contains Mallie’s fire sauce, jalapenos, red pepper flakes, buffalo sauce and ghost chilli pepper, also known as Bhut Jolokia, a fiery pepper that hold’s a world record for being the hottest chilli pepper!) The burger is topped with several slices of gooey and creamy pepper-jack cheese.
Wait, this isn’t all. You also have to gobble down (I say gobble down because the challenge must be completed in 30 minutes) 6 Hellfire wings and a whole bowl of Hellfire Chilli.
What do I get? (Apart from a full stomach and heartburn) Free burgers for an entire year!

Ultimate Destroyer Challenge:
This challenge will surely destroy one of these three things, or all:
Served up by Papa Bob’s Bar-B-Que, Kansas City, this meaty challenge is not for weak-stomached small eaters. The challenge calls for you to stuff down a mammoth sandwich, which is made up of a 12-inch hoagie bun, ½ pound pulled pork, ½ pound hickory-smoked sliced pork, ½ pound hickory-smoked ham, ½ pound hickory-smoked turkey breast, three ½ pound hickory-smoked hamburgers, ½ pound smoked brisket, smoked BBQ sausages and lots and lots of sauce.
Feeling faint? Energize yourself with more…urm…food! No, really, because you also have to go through 1 ½ pound fires and 4 pickles!

The KIDZ Breakfast Challenge:
If the name makes you think completing the challenge will be child’s play, you misunderstood the name. This challenge hasn’t been named such because it’s a tiny one, or because has anything to do with children. It is called the KIDZ challenge because it weighs more than an average-sized newborn baby!
Also nicknamed, “Heart attack on a plate,” this jumbo breakfast packs in over 6000 calories. Highly unhealthy and slightly dangerous, the meal consists of 12 bacon rashers, 12 sausages, 6 eggs, 4 slices of black pudding, 4 slices of buttered bread, 4 slices of toast, 4 slices of fried bread, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, sauté potatoes and a cheese and potato omelette made up of 8 eggs!
