How to Smell Great All the Time? 6 Tips Every Man Should Know

When getting ready for a date, most men take a lot of pains to see that their hair is perfectly set and that their face and clothes look well-groomed and clean. However, not many pay attention to the way they smell. This is a crucial mistake since it is the first thing women notice about you. As a matter of fact, it tends to be a big turn on for women. More than your looks, clothes, height and bank balance, rely on the way you smell to attract a woman.

Not just on a date, but smelling good can help you gain success in your professional life too. People tend to be impressed by persons who smell good and are likely to think of them as being intelligent, confident and charming, the winning qualities that can bag you that promotion. So, smell great all the time and enjoy a more successful and fulfilling life.

Here are tips to help you smell great every day, always:

•Cleaning your body well is important as accumulated sweat and dirt results in body odour. Hence, shower regularly and well. Make use of a shower gel/body wash or soap with a lasting, masculine fragrance to wash your body. The Body Shop India’s Men’s section has a range of high-quality products for men. Choose body washes, perfumes, shaving items and more from here.

•Keep your hair clean too as foul-smelling, sticky hair can be a real turn off. Wash your hair well and frequently using a shampoo and conditioner. Select hair products that have fragrances that complement your body products.

•When stepping outdoors, squirt some perfume on your pulse points like your wrists, neck, behind your ears and on your torso. Select a good quality, long-lasting perfume. Colognes with a musk fragrance or deep woody notes smell extremely good. If you don’t have a perfume, splash on some aftershave as this too will help you smell great. However, use a non-alcoholic one so that it doesn’t dry out your skin.

•When engaging in activities that are going to make you sweat profusely, use an antiperspirant deodorant to minimize perspiration and therefore, body odour. Spray it on all areas from which you perspire a lot.

•When choosing hair products, make sure you choose ones with a good fragrance. Applying an aromatic gel or fragrant hairspray is a good way to make yourself smell good, especially if you’re pressed for time.

•Another great way to minimize perspiration and therefore, keep body odour at bay is to sprinkle baby powder on areas that tend to perspire a lot. Always carry around a small tin of baby powder and make use of it whenever needed.

With these simple tips, you’re sure to smell great throughout the day. However, when applying scented products, make sure you don’t overdo it. Applying too many products with contrasting fragrances will leave you smelling awful. So, apply a few, long-lasting products but apply them smartly and it will be sufficient.
