Neem, Lemon, Rosewater Pack

Take 2 tablespoons of dried neem powder in a bowl. If you don’t have neem powder, you can take a couple of neem leaves, leave them to dry for a couple of days and then crush them into a powder. Add a few drops of lemon juice and rose water to this powder to create a paste. Now apply this paste on your face and let it stay on for 15 – 20 minutes. Wash it off with cold water. This face pack cleanses pores and removes excess oil from your skin.

Neem and Turmeric Pack

Take a couple of fresh neem leaves and grind them into a paste. Now, add 1 tablespoon of turmeric to the paste and mix well. Apply this face pack evenly all over your face. Wait for about 20 minutes before washing it off with cold water.

Neem, Sandalwood and Rosewater Pack

Take a couple of spoons of fresh neem paste in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of sandalwood powder to this paste and a few drops of rosewater. Mix well so that all the ingredients blend together to form a smooth paste. Keep this pack on for about 30 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. For those who suffer from frequent and severe breakouts, this face pack should be applied 3 – 4 times a week.

Neem, Yogurt and Rosewater Pack

This face pack is ideal for people with oily skin as it helps cleanse skin of excess oil. To make this pack, you’ll need to create a mixture of 2 teaspoons of dried neem leaves, a teaspoon of yogurt and about 4 -5 drops of rose water. Mix all the ingredients together well till a smooth, lump-free paste is formed. Apply on this paste and keep it on for about 15 minutes. Rinse the pack off with cool water.

Multani Mitti and Neem Pack:

Here’s a face mask that makes use of Multani Mitti, (Fuller’s Earth) Neem Powder and Rose Water. This face mask effectively gets rid of acne and blemishes. To make this pack, you need to combine 2 teaspoons of Multani Mitti, 1 teaspoon of Neem powder and a few drops of Rose Water. Mix these ingredients together until a paste is formed and then apply it on your face. Keep the paste on for about 20 to 30 minutes before washing it off with cool water.

These were a couple of effective Neem face masks that can be made at home. However, if you’re really pressed for time and cannot make these packs, or if you simply dislike making pastes and mixtures, you could opt for a good Neem face wash like the Garnier Pure Active Neem Face Wash. Enriched with Neem and Tea-tree oil, this face wash fights germs and washes away oil, dirt and impurities to keep your skin clean and healthy.
